One Point

Submitted my first assignment so on with the next part.


The single point created by the face surrounded by the red material creates greater dynamism placed slightly to the left and just below centre taking the eye away from the mass of red. Furthermore the set of the eyes takes you back into the picture.




The placement in the bottom left corner was used to emphasise the vastness of sea and sky into which the figure is gazing. 




In this case the seagull is placed high to the right of the image. Not only does this placement give the seagull somewhere to go but also emphasises the height at which it is flying. There is no sense of the ground.
